Hiking in the Italian Doliomites

A typcial area to visit would be:

Falzarego, Lagazuoi

An historical place. We follow the tracks from the WWI. We will explore secret underground tunnel systems and dugouts. Besides that we will enjoy a fabulous 360° view from the traditional Lagazuoi Hut on the highest peaks of the Dolomites like Marmolata, Civetta and the Tofan massif.

Fanes

Fanes is the biggest natural reserve of the south of Tirol. It extends from the valley of Prags over Toblach to Alta Badia. Fanes has one of the most beautiful and different landscape formed of meadows, forests and crystal clear mountain lakes. It is the home of many different plants and animals. The area is often called "the kingdom of the marmots". The absolute highlight of this part of the Dolomites is the famous Pragser Wildsee, a beautiful mountain lake which is a perfect spot for several day tours.

Hiking in the Dolomites

Sella

The Boèspitz is with an altitude of 3151 meters above sea level the highest summit of the Dolomites. The Sella massif is in the north of Marmolata, the highest peak of the south of Tirol. This impressive peak can be climbed with the help of a chairlift and a short hike. On the top you can observe the extreme paragliders and base jumpers which jump off the sheer cliffs of the summit, flying over the roofs of Corvara.

Cinque Torri

The Cinque Torri are located between Falzarego and Cortina. They are a very popular object in the climbing scene because there are many climbing routes in these impressive walls. We will hike around these towers and we will have a break in one of the several mountain huts to enjoy some cold drinks and regional specialties. On the foot of the Cinque Torri there is a museum which tells us interesting facts and informations of the war between the Austrians and the Italians during the WWI.
